Eight Kids in a Row

I love the Vino family. We've been friends for years. Recently Jana asked me to photograph her family of four along with her sister's family of four.... eight little kids in a row!! The cousins were so adorable together---four boys and four girls, how cute is that! We are going to their house for their viewing presentation this week-- I think she is going to like some of these images for her Christmas card!! Please click on the image for a larger view.

goin to the zoo zoo zoo

Before I left for Los Angeles for the week, I wanted to take Penelope to the San Francisco Zoo to see the baby tiger cubs. And by "cub" I mean animals the size of Jack, our 100 pound Lab. I think P was disappointed they were not tiny kitten sized tigers. Sorry P. But they were really fun to watch, and much more active than the regular run-of-the-mill tiger that pretty much sleeps all the time. The zoo was a fun place to go, and thanks to my mom who gave me passes as a gift, we got in for free!! yipeee! For those of you who refuse to get on FACEBOOK here are some images from our trip to the Zoo. Facebook buddies, some repeats, but still goodies.

Millie is SUCH a diva. Check out those PINK boots she found at a thrift store and insisted I buy for her.... so cute. She is hilarious striking a pose with the birds....

This Zoo food cracked me up... the "AniMEALS" were little tiger heads (of course P had to have it) complete with animal cookie, blue ICEE (they were in heaven) and corndog. oh, and chips. yup. all the food groups are represented. hmm

What is a trip to the zoo without cotton candy? This one is for you, Babcia. :)

Penelope is a big Second Grader!!!

With the end of Summer comes the beginning of School and all things school-related. Little miss P is a big second grader now, and I think she is loving it! We love her new teacher, and she has lots of friends in class, so that is always really fun. I am so happy to think that she is comfortable and happy in her class.

Look how excited P is to see her friends! She had not seen Maya for the entire summer, so it was great to have her in class!
