Penelope Birthday Pics...

So it's been a month since Penelope's birthday, I know, I know. I've lost the blogging mo-jo. Anyway, thought you'd like to seee some of the shots that I took... not as fancy as photog auntie Jules, but cute all the same. . .

Jules and I took Penelope into San Francisco to meet SF Photog Gene Higa! She always says that she wants to be an auntie and a photographer like my sister, so we brought her along.



Penelope's friends dressed up like kitties and various animals for the ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) theme. We had fun!

Jill Shinn made a fantastic cake just to Penelope's specifications... all the Disney characters, green for grass on the bottom and blue for sky on the top!



So each child got a little stuffed animal to care for... they took them to a "vet!"

Pixar!

Brett and I got a chance to visit the ultra cool studios of Pixar Animation recently and visit the inner workings of the company. You need to know someone on the inside in order to visit, so we felt really lucky to go!

This is John Lasseter's office... covered with toys from top to bottom!

When we left Pixar, they gave us every one of the movies they have made so far! Penelope and Millie are really into Monster's Inc. now. Millie will squint her eye and say "I'm Mike!!" So funny. They would love to meet Sully and Mike here...

Slogging Through the Blogging

So, for my one fan out there, I'm trying to catch up again. I'd kind of lost a little blogging gusto out there recently... And we do so many fun things, really, that it is tough to keep up on the daily blog. I haven't blogged about Pixar, Penelope's birthday, Special Person of the Week, days at the Farmer's Market... so I'll post so pics for my one fan. It's probably me...

Penelope and Babcia have a special tea ritual that Penelope loves... so for her 6th birthday Babcia treated her to a tea treat at a local tea shop! They wore hats for the occasion.

Lewis, our adorable first born son cat, loves to hang out and sleep on our bed, and Millie loves to cuddle with him. Good ole Mr. Noodle, such a trooper, he tolerates the attention from the toddler.

We met up with Sandra, Ben, and Gabbie at the Farmer's Market. It's always fun to meet up with friends, hang out on the grass, and go to the Half-Price Book store!
