goin to the zoo zoo zoo

Before I left for Los Angeles for the week, I wanted to take Penelope to the San Francisco Zoo to see the baby tiger cubs. And by "cub" I mean animals the size of Jack, our 100 pound Lab. I think P was disappointed they were not tiny kitten sized tigers. Sorry P. But they were really fun to watch, and much more active than the regular run-of-the-mill tiger that pretty much sleeps all the time. The zoo was a fun place to go, and thanks to my mom who gave me passes as a gift, we got in for free!! yipeee! Millie is SUCH a diva. Check out those PINK boots she found at a thrift store and insisted I buy for her.... so cute. She is hilarious striking a pose with the birds....

This Zoo food cracked me up... the "AniMEALS" were little tiger heads (of course P had to have it) complete with animal cookie, blue ICEE (they were in heaven) and corndog. oh, and chips. yup. all the food groups are represented. hmm

What is a trip to the zoo without cotton candy? This one is for you, Babcia. :)
