Fun trip to San Francisco!

When my friend Matt came into town with his family, it was a great excuse to visit the city and hang out! We all had so much fun riding BART into the city and visiting the aquarium, and Penelope loved that she missed a day of school. It was educational, don't worry.

The girls loved the train, and I love this shot of them... the sun on their face and the sheer joy of playing together. They really love each other and can have fun together anywhere.

Millie thought this enormous bumblebee was hilarious, so Matt, the famous NY photographer, grabbed a shot for us with my crappy little point and shoot. Thanks Matt, your check is in the mail.

Of course no trip to Yerba Buena Gardens is complete without a ride on the merry go round. I was glad Matt was there to take the kids, since I get so car sick!


The fish and the penguins were a big hit, of course....


Penelope read to sister while they rested at the play area of the aquarium. so sweeeeeet....

And we ended our trip to San Francisco with a very touristy cable car ride to North Beach to meet up with the spouses for dinner at The Stinking Rose, one of our favorite (very garlicy) Italian resteraunts. mmmm The kids loved the cable car, as you can see.
