Yeee Ha at the Alameda County Fair

My mother's favorite summer activity is heading down to the Alameda County Fair. This year we went before the major heat wave, and it was a blast!! The girls had a fantastic time checking out the cows, sheep, little birds, and riding ponies. Millie was very excited to ride a pony like big sister. Jules even got into it, buying a new swanky hat and getting her hands henna'd.... preparing for her Indian wedding in October. Click on any image to see a bigger version of it!!

The fair is so hokey, but that is what makes it fun. You can buy any silly thing at the fair, and it is a great family trip that will be fun for the girls to remember every year. I know I do.
