Bear Valley!!!

Bear Valley is one of my favorite vacation spots, summer or winter. In the summer, we can hang out by the lake and kayak or hike, and in the winter, the snow is amazing. The skiing is fun too! I love this view of the lake from the stonehouse-- the only house on the entire lake! The rest of it is all public land.





Penelope and Millie took turns riding in the kayak with me and chasing poor little families of ducks around the lake!! What a great workout for the arms... whew.



This picture cracks me up because it just shows how Millie always wants to do exactly what big sister is doing. Penelope sat on the ground and did this funny pose, and Millie immediately followed her... monkey see, monkey do!
